Nombres muy variados, sin embargo, podemos ver que hacen referencia a una historia que es bastante popular a lo largo del mundo. Tanto así, que ha trascendido como una leyenda urbana: la historia del casino que cerró tras la aparición del Diablo. En lo alto de un cerro de la ciudad de Hermosillo, se pueden ver las ruinas de lo que fuera un gran casino, un lugar extraordinario dónde los jóvenes de la alta sociedad se reunían para divertirse, era el mejor lugar para bailar en la ciudad y festejar fechas especiales, de aquella época. Pero todo cambio, un 31 de Diciembre, una víspera de año nuevo, cuando el mismo diablo, salió de los avernos para bailar con una hermosa joven, terminando su encuentro en una destrucción total del lugar. En la actualidad, durante el día, el sol del desierto hace que las ruinas se vean tristes, como un lugar abandonado donde no vive nadie. Pero con la noche, las paredes cobran vida, tanto que si alguien se acercara, podrá escuchar voces, música y ruidos de un gran baile. Eco de los sucesos, de aquella fatídica noche de invierno. La leyenda del Casino del diablo continúa viva en Hermosillo, Sonora.
