King Guillermo, along with other top horses in the Kentucky Derby points chase, all have time for another prep race to add to their totals. The Sunland Derby winner will get 50 points which will put him right in the thick of it. Last weekend, Sunland featured the $184,000 West Texas Derby for quarter horses. It was desperately close, but Aggressive Driver eked out a narrow victory over K J Frankie B, earning him his fourth straight win. Next weekend’s action at Sunland Park will be headlined by the Curribot Handicap for older horses.
