Al menos 19 personas murieron y varias permanecen desaparecidas tras el incendio de un hotel-casino, ocurrido este miércoles, en la ciudad camboyana de Poipet. Se estima que el número de víctimas podría aumentar con el avance de las tareas de rescate, indicaron las fuentes. Según el informe de las autoridades, el fuego se originó a las 23.30 hora local en el hotel-casino Grand Diamond City de Poipet, cerca de la frontera con Tailandia. "Hay 19 muertos en este momento. El número total de fallecidos podría ser aún más elevado", indicó a AFP Sek Sokhom, director del servicio de información de la provincia camboyana de Banteay Mean Chey.
