Golden Nugget Las Vegas has been on my "to stay" list for some time, and I finally took the opportunity to stay in their Rush Tower, which I learned may be one of the best hotel rooms on Fremont Street. Aside from my Rush Tower Tranquility Room, Golden Nugget is home to The Tank pool, which is stocked with sharks, fish, and has a waterslide that cuts right through it. Atop the Tank, is the Hideaway pool which is Adult only. Restaurants at Golden Nugget range from Chick Fil A and Starbucks to the upscale Vic & Anthony's Steakhouse. You'll see my meals at Saltgrass and Claim Jumper, and I'll highlight one of the best happy hours in Vegas at Chart House.

I've been looking for the right Gibson 330 for a few years now and just got bummed out not finding the right one. I thought I'd buy one of these made in Korea Epiphone Casino models from the Peerless factory between 1996 - 2004 and see what I could do with it. I ended up with two instruments - one that was upgraded and didn't play well (turquoise, 1996), and one that was stock and felt like an incredible instrument (red, 2004). I decided to take Lollar P90 pickups out of the older one, completely redo the wiring, add a varitone circuit, and see if I could make some further improvements to this instrument.
